The Meaning Behind Atma

Atma means “self” in Sanskrit — the essence of who you are beneath the noise, the doing, and the expectations of life. 

 

It’s a reminder that true wellbeing isn’t something found outside of you — it’s something you return to, as you reconnect with your inner wisdom. 

 

Every part of our work together is designed to help you remember that, and live it.

Hi, I’m Diana, founder of Atma Well Co and a certified holistic and women’s wellness coach.

With over 20 years in Human Resources, I bring a deep understanding of people and growth, and a natural ability to connect. My strength lies in truly listening, and creating space for others to feel seen, supported, and understood. That foundation of empathy, curiosity, and connection continues to guide my work today as a coach.​​​​

My Journey

My journey into holistic wellness began after losing my father — a pivotal moment that changed how I view health and life. At the same time, I was navigating both the pandemic and perimenopause. I felt anxious, overwhelmed, and uncertain. My body reflected it too — my digestion was unsettled, my weight fluctuated, my sleep was disrupted, and I was often fatigued.

That period became a turning point. It encouraged me to pause and ask what wellbeing truly meant — beyond routines and expectations. With self-compassion and simple, mindful practices, I discovered that living well isn’t about doing more — it’s about slowing down, listening inward, and honouring your needs. From that place of awareness, healing began — gently from within.
 
Through this experience, I discovered a renewed sense of purpose — and from that, Atma Well Co was born. It grew from a desire to share what I'd learned and to support other women in creating space for calm, clarity, and balance in their everyday lives. I'm deeply grateful — and genuinely excited — to support women as they discover what living well truly means for them.

What Inspires Me

I’m guided by the work of Wayne Dyer, Louise Hay, and Gabby Bernstein — their teachings on self-empowerment, self-love, and possibility continue to shape both my coaching philosophy and everyday life.

Life Beyond Coaching

Beyond coaching, I find joy in the simple things — journalling, reading, being outdoors, cooking wholesome meals, and spending time with family. These everyday moments remind me that true wellbeing begins within — at home and with the people we love.
